Women – This word has lot of power in it. Being women is something that we should be proud of. Right from birth a women undergoes lot of changes socially, environmentally, physically etc. She is trained to do so many things which make her life easy and meaningful.

As a girl we adjust with our brothers and tend to sacrifice more for them. When we get married, we adjust with our husbands and again compromise on many issues. When we grow older we are asked to adjust with our children and so a women’s life is full of adjustments, compromises and sacrifices.

Though we say that situations have changed and that women are more qualified and Independent, I don’t see much change in their responsibilities. Still she has a major role in the family and bringing up the children. How much ever she studies and how much ever she earns, she still holds the biggest responsibility of taking care of the entire family and bonding them together.

At some stage or the other a women’s career is stuck up due to her responsibilities. She doesn’t have much time for herself and even now some women are not given much importance in their house.

It is said that when a girl is born she gets 25% marks, when she attains puberty she gets 50% marks, when she is married she gets 75% marks and when she delivers a kid she is given 100% marks. The purpose of being women is complete by giving birth to a child.

God has given so much power to women which enable her to tolerate everything that happens to her in each stage of her life. Let us all use that power and strength and do our responsibilities as well as build up our career. Let us compromise and sacrifice only on important issues and let us have some time for ourselves daily. Only if we are happy and healthy, can we do all the various tasks that is expected of us.

As women let us all take an oath to become stronger day by day and fulfill the greatest duty of our birth.
