An original fable created by me.

Once upon a time, there was a farmer who lived in Greece. He was very diligent. He kept numerous cattle for cultivation. Every day, he got up very early. Therefore, the lives of his cattle were very hard as they needed to work very early as well.

At first, the cattle were industrious. They did their works properly. With the lapse of time, the cattle became indolent. They thought that their working time was too long. They thus started to think about some ruses. ‘I’ve got an idea! Let us pretend we are sick so that the farmer will give fewer jobs to us.’ One of the cattle said. ‘Does it really work? Be honest, don’t trick!’ Other cattle disagreed the ruse and went back to do their own work. Nevertheless, another two cattle agreed with the ruse and planned for it.

Next day in the morning, the farmer went to his plough. ‘Oh! My cattle! What happened? You are sick.’ Farmer stared at the three cattle. The three cattle were cheerful as they were succeeded. But then, the farmer soliloquized ‘Sorry, my dear cattle. I must kill the three of you. I am scared that your diseases will infect the others.’

In the end, the three cattle were killed. ‘Help! Help! We won’t be lazy anymore!’ The three cattle wailed before they died. But it is of no use to say that.

‘Deserve more than death!’ Other cattle agreed.

In our daily life, we may also be slothful. Affected by different enticements, we will give in to temptation easily. Until recently, some students studying in the university forge certificate because of their laziness. Still, no people can put up with this action and their prospects were ruined forever. So, industry is a fundamentally important element in our life.
