This is a short story written in similar style to "The Canterbury Tales", describing five space travelers on their way to Mars.
The next pilgrim I will identify is Howard Beedle. He is a dwarf, standing only 4 feet 3 inches tall. He has thick, flowing red hair, bright green eyes, and a grizzly beard. He is only 33 years old. He is the most renowned botanist on Earth. His purpose on this mission is to take care of and breed the most efficient oxygen producing and fruit bearing plants. Surprisingly he has very few morals and no ethics. He was accused of murdering two botanists about to discover the same breakthrough he discovered right after their deaths. He was never convicted though.
The next pilgrim I will identify is Samantha Greene. She is a homely looking woman. Not pretty, but not too bad on the eyes. She has light brown hair, hazel eyes, and a heart tattoo on her left arm. She has a nice smile and slightly overweight body. She is a nutrionist surprisingly enough, and her purpose on the mission is to make sure everyone has a healthy diet, with the right amounts of key vitamins and minerals and the right amount of calories per day. She is a very honest and ethical person. She never even has a traffic violation on Earth.
The last pilgrim I will identify is Thomas Worthington. He is your run-of-the-mill skinny, pale computer geek. He is 29 and has short black hair, brown eyes, and extremely greasy skin. Most of the other pilgrims find him a bit eccentric and weird, but he is perhaps the most important among the five of them. He is a computer programmer and one of the principle designers of the Mars Space Station. His work is what allowed for the first people to settle on Mars. His designs and life support systems are the backbone of the entire Mars Colonization Program. He has a very good morals and ethics, probably learned during his 27 year stay at his mother’s house.
