Now you can get the real story.
Later along the path he came across a pasture full of grazing cows. The old folks had given up the chase (or that’s what it seemed) so the Ginger Bread Man stopped to play. He picked up a cow and started to play cow toss. He thought it was very fun, but the farmer wasn’t to happy about it. He went to confront the Ginger Bread Man (apparently he is very brave). He was scolded and told to put the cows down, the Ginger Bread Man felt very bad, said sorry and was on his way when the elderly couple came back with a wrecking ball (way ahead of there time really, bu they had one) They were headed straight for the farm so the Ginger Bread Man decided to defend it. He managed to divert it toward a nearby lake. The farmer thanked him (they play poker together every Friday) and they parted ways.
Now the Ginger Bread Man was on his way when he came across a stream (here is where the fox comes in) he was going to leap it in one single bound but stopped. He noticed a furry thing sticking out of the water. He pulled it up and you guessed it, it was a squirrel! He set it off to the side and bounded the river. On the other side he saw a fox. The fox stopped him and they had a nice long chat. Only to be interrupted by the old couple (this time in a tank). The fox, who was a quick thinker (much smarter then old Gingy) ran up the stock of the tank and into the hole. The old couple knew they could blast him. They fired but the fox was so quick he already jammed it and got out. BOOM! The elderly couple were dead. The two walked off together. Friends for life.
Everyone lived happily after except for the school children who were eaten by a flock of cows and the elderly couplu who, blew up.
I know this sounds absurd but it happened, if you don’t believe it here ask the farmer or the fox. Both of them can vouch for Gingy. He is a good person and never would hurt a fly. It’s our word against the other people you read about. So know you know what really happened.
