A lot of people love Facebook, some people like it, some dislike, and some hate it. I, personally, dislike it.

Reasons you think why I’d dislike it:

  • Layout always changes
  • Unable to customize profile
  • So much change (i.e. new photo browsing)

Well, you’re wrong. I think those things are great; it’s the reason why I used to love Facebook.
Why I actually dislike it:

  • It’s ad-based (I’d rather pay for a good service than be subjected to ads)
  • Apps that fill your news feed with spam
  • Apps that are scams
  • Pages that are scams
  • Apps that require money to buy coins and cash in-game (I’d rather a one-time fee)
  • The fact that pages can be created without authentication (back in the day, you had to provide photo ID, i.e. drivers licence, to prove the page was authentic).
  • It’s become too popular for my liking (not a valid reason, but I’m like that)
  • Privacy policy
  • Spam accounts that fill your page with spam links
  • So much bullying and discrimination (not enough banning is happening)

Do you like Facebook?
Why? Or why not? What’s your preferred method of social networking?

I have to say that you have opened my eyes to face book. I never really saw the point of it and not I am much more wary of it. Thanks for the heads up.
