i am a teenager so i am speaking from my own perspective.

1.sometimes my mom sends me to the store since she can’t drive and the store is close enough to walk there. i am a very forgetful person so i sometimes forget why i am there. if i had a cellphone then of course i could just phone my mom to ask her what she wanted.

2.if i was walking along somewhere and lost track of time i might have forgotten my watch at home. but i would never forget a cellphone.

3.if i were to get lost i could call or text someone for directions.

4.some cellphones also have internet, like facebook and im. and if i had a cellphone i could go on facebook on my celphone so someone else can use the computer. this will reduce fighting in the household.

5.one reason for fighting is when the teenager is holding up the phone lines. but with a cellphone we can talk without using the land line.

6.sometimes i walk by something that i wish i could take a picture of when i don’t have my camera along. thats what camera phones are for. since i would have my cellphone with me i could take a picture.

7.it would teach a teenager responsibility when they have to take care of it themselves.

8. it would teach a teenager to be responsible with their money when they have to pay to use it.

9.in case of any emergency. if i was ingured and no one was around and my mouth isn’t working so i can’t shout for help i could use my cellphone to text someone.

10. and of course the usual teenage reason…EVERYONE ELSE HAS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
