Sometimes diseases that have different causes and require different treatment result in problems that look very much alike.

  1. Malnutrition.
  2. A “heavy” roundworm infection ( Usually together with Malnutrition.
  3. Tuberculosis of the abdomen.
  4. A long-term severe urinary infection.
  5. Any of several problems of the liver or spleen.
  6. Leukemia.
  7. Bad circulation that results from varicose veins or other causes.
  8. Diabetes.
  9. 9. Infection of the bone (Osteomyelitis).
  10. Leprosy.
  11. Tuberculosis of the skin.
  12. Advanced syphilis.
