Okay, I find 1337 super annoying myself as it is some n00b using a language you can essentially create yourself!
I have spent a lot of years and time online, I have seen countless n00bs using 1337 improperly or self-invented that isn’t even 1337! I try to consider 1337 as the use of letters, numbers and various symbols that appear as each other! If 5 is suppose to be an I in someones 1337 then they are a n00b and shouldn’t be aloud to use 1337 at all! 1337 is also the use of abbreviations that everyone on the Internet uses!
There are some practical uses of 1337 as well such as n00b, lawlz, lol, and other commonly used Internet abbreviations. A very common use of 1337 is individual to gaming and certain games. Each game a person plays has its own vocabulary of 1337 as the players design for best use in the game!
There are a few more interesting abbreviations we should discuss, one that I see regularly is Pr0n which is 1337 for porn and is deliberately spelt wrong. This I notice is often used by people who know that some of us in the conversation don’t participate in such things or if there is a female around! I always get a laugh when I see it! Another one I get a good laugh at it suxxors as it is a wonderful saying along the lines of BALLZ my other favorite saying. They are just exclamations for when you get beat in some retarded way like a noob getting a head shot! I would encourage you to try screaming BALLZ or SUXXORS next time something bad happens! It lightens the mood and makes everyone happier at the fun!
If you do not know what 1337 is then you obviously are a n00b and need to read a post that is an actual explanation of what 1337 is, if you insist it is also referred to by nubs as”Leet” but that is the ultimate of uncool! Don’t ever let me catch you calling it Leet! It is 1337!
