I hear everyone talking now a days that world might end on 21 DEC 2012. Lot of people ask me what is the point of planning the life 4 or 5 years ahead when we don’t know what future holds for us. They feel that we should better be worshiping, praying God for pardon for sins the human kind has done over the years.

I don’t agree much with these people, not that I’m some bigot or even an atheistic person. I do belive in God and from what I have heard God is one who begot us all and a father (or mother whichever way you wanna take it) would never wish harm to their children.

Well there have been lot of speculations or if you wanna call them prophecies or omen. whatever you call them no one is quite sure about the what future beholds. May be these conjectures are right but looking at the current situation we can’t do anything about it. May be all that those great ancestors of us meant was there will be lot of changes in 2012, changes well for humans or may be earth.

What I’m trying to say is we can’t leave all our hope and our duties and keep thinking about something that might happen or not. I’m not great fan of Adolf Hitler, but the guy had some experience and he once said “Why worry if you can solve a problem and if you can’t solve the problem then what is the point of worrying?” It’s like that only we don’t know how to solve this problem because it’s very indiscernible in nature. So there is no point in worrying about something we can’t solve. Think about it, from the time we have remember earthquake has been a major catastrophe and we can hardly predict it but we don’t stop living and start worrying about it, do we? Few days ago there was a major earthquake in Japan, the whole country is messed up right now but instead of crying about it they are fighting for survival. That whole country comes into earthquake prone area but they Instead of blaming God or nature they have accepted it and acclimated to the nature. We need to learn from our brothers and sisters from Japan that worrying about something that can’t be avoided is not solution, but holding on to our morals like humanity and acceptance in the apocalyptic situation, that is the solution.

Life as we know it is a very lovely thing, and we shouldn’t waste it worrying about something which may turn out to be greatest rumor of centuries. There are lot of things that we should we be worrying about that might happen in future, like the infamous Global Warming or extinction of flora & fauna. This issues as we know are surely going to affect our planet in real bad way and praying God isn’t going to help us either because we are the bane of these tragedies.

What we need to do my brothers and sisters is solve the problems we know solution to instead of dawdling over new issues which are far behind our grasp.
