80s t-shirts – what’s hot and what’s even hotter

The 80s were my time. I enjoyed my teenage years solely in the 80s – and had no fear with regard to work or any other such adult type duty. All i had to do was either get myself to school on time – easy, my mum would wake me up. Then obeying on from that get myself to council on time – no trick ask here, that was mum again. Then when at last i was learning at council i had no fear about lectures because a) they didn’t start until 10 am and b) we had quite a little black market going in duplicated notes. So i had an pure whale of a time. 

My liked memory jogger of the 80s has to be t shirts. The trio of refined impel that i absorbed most ravenously were tv, film and music. So, for any tv plan, depict film or band slash group of the 80s i’d love a t shirt. But i’d have to be picky because if i had a t shirt for every one of these that i liked i’d have no room for something else in the house, never mind my wardrobe. But if i did go out and buy one or two say, which ones would they be? 

Well in the case of films from the 80s it just has to be back to the coming. The range of plan is really quite alter. For model, lately, i have seen a flux condenser plan, a doc brown plan – essentially just christopher lloyd’s head with the words ‘doc’ and ‘brown’ copy. Then there’s a biff tannen plan with his head and the phrase ‘butthead’. But for sheer cool it’s got to be a delorean t shirt – just the knowledge dmc and the legend delorean motor company. 

My liked tv plan of the 80s has got to be the young ones. So it’s only suiting that i’d like a young ones t shirt. Again there are few presently valid out there, but in my ususal style, i’d go for plainness. There’s one with the five’s heads (alexei sayle is included) silhouetted above the legend the young ones. Or failing that there’s always a monochrome variant of the council dare desk with the title scumbag council. Splendid splendid stuff. 

With regard to music, there’s any number of bands or groups that i’d like to see in pride of place across my chest. Top choice just has to be blondie. Any image of an 80s debbie harry would be fine! or what about the specials, or rage, or depeche mode or adam ant. Then there will always be madonna, or god rest his soul, michael jackson.
