9/11 from the point of view of Brits.
I, myself, have the utmost support for those effected and involved (you know what I mean) with the attacks on September 11th 2001.
However, the point of view of many Brits I know is, “It was just some towers.” Just some towers. That’s, outrageous. Many don’t even know the attacks on the pentagon even happened! I would say that this ignorance would come to an end, but as we get further for the actual events, awareness is just going to drop.
And no, I’m not saying that we’re all ignorant and that this is all Brit’s think, but there seems to be a common trend, that it shouldn’t matter to us. These people should open their eyes. Can’t they see it affects us? We’re fighting in Afganistan, our young men and women are dying! Yet some people don’t think it matters, that is disgusting.
Regardless, it is the day the earth stood still.
