Taking away something is painful but putting a law againt it is cruel.

It seems like wherever you go, you cannot have your own opinion or freedom. Especially when you’re a Muslim.  You cannot wear a veil or a burka without having someone to tell you how wrong it is without understanding why some women in Islam wear one.

Is it out of our own choice?

Yes.

Are we forced?

Simply no.

Why do we do it?

Because it is a part of our identity and who we are and should have the freedom to do so.

On the 11th of April 2011, marked a date in France where if a women was seen wearing a veil, they would simply be taken to court or be given a fine. What is the point in this useless law? You tell me.

Taking freedom of who you want to be or wear something should not be an issue. Instead you should allow us to be who we are without having to worry or fight for our own right. When making a law like this, surely it’s going to cause a fight or even worse, a war?

How long do you think it will take before they tell us that we cannot practice our religion?

Why it has become a subject to debate about, I’ll never understand. How a law can be put in place like this is ridiculous.

Many out there who are perhaps for this law are quite happy about its existence. Quit the challenge because one day it will be left and broken. Instead love each other for who we are, and bury the feud.

This law seems to be the perfect way to tell us what we can and cannot do. It makes me think why it is Islam that is being singled out? Yet if we Muslims of today speak out about the hate against us, we are simply told it is a freedom of speech yet if one minority do something disgraceful the whole nation of Muslims are easily blamed. We simply cannot stand up for ourselves without having to be told that an opinion should be expressed but to what lengths exactly?

All those women out there are probably feeling bare and naked, that a part of their identity is missing and they cannot help but feel sickened at the fact that they will face a criminal record for doing something so innocent.

I don’t think anyone will understand the pain of this unless if you are one of those women living in France. And taking away a part of their identity must be painful enough with the fact that whatever actions are raised will not help them enough…
