Preamble to Nanowrimo

This is my third effort at Nanowrimo 2009. My first effort was a somewhat cool story about a suicidal 15-year-old diabetic. But as my Internet has been down all week, I can’t do the research that story requires . So it will keep for another time.

My second story idea was to write a story about someone who was entering Nanowrimo and cant get the muse to work either. Eventually she decides to write a novel asking her ex to marry her. But I decided that was a little to real.

This, my third and hopefully final effort, is based on a poem I wrote last night. Leslea Newman, one of my favorite poets ever had a prompt in her list of prompts she submitted for the 30 poems in 30 days fund raiser that I am part of. The prompt last night was to write a poem without using the letter E for the entire poem, it was really difficult ,I manged with some help from my assistant to create a haiku.
That got me thinking what if I was just to create a Nanowrimo entry using all 26 letters of the alphabet, page by page. Every chapter would have a different baned letter. It sounded like fun and I was desperate. I am not sure how its going to turn out but I like the idea.

Without first one cannot ponder _greement, _acceptance, or _nger. It’s hard to sum up thoughts when you can’t even type _dditionally within the rules. This is _ little time consuming but t lest it’s better now that I h_ve someone to dict_te to. I’m not sure if this counts _s _ novel, but I’m trying. Isn’t th_t the point of this exercise? First letter of _lph_bet is in more words th_n I 1remembered. I hope the other letters _re e_sier to do without.
