Yeah I’m probably not going to be back for another 2 years. I got grounded for a while. I told my parents that I’m bi and they flipped shit and grounded me. So now I’m never allowed on RS again. Until I move out or get a laptop at least. I’ll try to get on the forums but i can’t guarantee anything. Until then, bye everyone.

Yup they are religious. They’re also forcing me to do counseling. I took the chance to let everyone know ill be gone off of certain things since my parents are gone until the end of the week. My dad goes back to Afghanistan though (good riddance). The councilor as well is a pastor of all things. Fun! -.- I don’t think grounding someone for a choice like that is right to do. Probably being supportive to change would be a better choice instead of just punishing you to the max.

I also would like to say that I do think that being bi is wrong because I believe in my religion, but I won’t outright hate someone because I know there is still room to change.

Oh yea, you should write a fake letter/note or something to see their reaction, and if they end up not caring or forcing you even more, THEY should go to counseling. Gameboy is right (well as right as he can be for his own beliefs), if they aren’t going to support your decision they should at least be open to change and ‘help’ you become ‘normal’
I respect everyone’s beliefs and my parents should go to counseling as well! They have no idea how to handle it. Instead my dad says I’m “tearing the family apart” when in all reality, he is. He’s tried kicking me out 3 times and my mom hated that. It’s not even legal to kick me out. So then they change the grounding to me being grounded for grades. I said to them I’m no only grounded for grades and they alluded to the fact that I’m not. They even said you can make 1 important decision and this will all go away.. what the hell? -.-
