A letter to a woman who means so very much to me.
You know how they always say you don’t know what you have until its gone? I believe it now. Grandma since you have been gone i have realized how important you really were to me. You were always there to take care of me and you always stood up for me even if I was wrong. You taught me every thing I know about a kitchen and if you hadn’t then I wouldn’t have the job I have now. And I have you to thank for that. You also taught me how to be kind, loving, forgiving and gentle. That’s qualities every mother needs so I guess you could say I wouldn’t have them if it wasn’t for you, so thank you once again. Grandma, there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you. You are in my heart and on my mind. I have said some mean things to you in the past and I apologize. I said those things out of anger, not to hurt you. I know you are with me in every thing I do, just please don’t ever leave me, I love you.
