A NEW LOW

I was originally wasn’t going to write an article about this subject matter.  However, it has come to my attention that not as many people as I thought know about this. I feel it is necessary to inform as many as possible about this.

Also, be aware the nature of the subject matter is graphic.

Near the end of last year I was shocked and disturbed at a video I had stumbled upon on a news/blog site.  The video was just one in a series of videos were young Asian girls were paid to brutally kill unsuspecting bunnies. The video I watched in particular shows one girl placing a glass plate on the creature and then using her body weight to literally squish it while the other girls laughed in the background.  The glass was then removed revealing a trail of protruding guts from its mouth. Other videos show girls nailing one rabbit’s ears to a table, dismemberment with knives, and even using high heels to pulverize the helpless mammals. What’s even more sickening to me is the fact that this is apparently a growing fetish and that people could actually pay to watch this. According to reports the participants where paid by a group branded as “crushfetish”.  This same group was also pointed to for a video exposed sometime in 2006 involving a kitten. There is no doubt that I wasn’t the only one sickened by this low in human behavior. Many who heard of it or saw the video as I did posted their comments on blogs and news sites wishing ill toward the girls, calling for their identities to be revealed and that china’s government to arrange some sort of punishment.  To my knowledge one of the girl’s identity has been revealed and she has reportedly apologized however, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the videos have stopped. If your not to faint of heart when comes to animals, especially bunnies, I’d advise you to do your own research and educate others.  This is something we as human beings need stand up against. Plain and simple: It ain’t right.
