Not exactly a resolution, more of an attempt to improve my life.

A Promise to Keep.
Every year I make a New Year Resolution, and I really want to keep to it, and for a while I do, but never for ever. This year I have made myself a promise, that I want to keep, and I will do my utmost not to break that promise.
I am a very imperfect human being, so I want to be kind to people, especially those that I don’t really have much time for. I will try not to be judgemental, or catty, or gossip about others. I will learn to be patient, and forgiving, and try so hard not to hurt those I love.
I will definitely try hard to lose the weight that has relentlessly invaded my body in the last year, and will also try hard not to nag someone close to me about his smoking habit. That is definitely being judgemental.
Maybe if I try as hard as I can, I will be a nicer person to have around in 2010. I know there is lots of room for improvement, and one day I may reach my goal. I will start by saying a Happy New Year, not just to my friends and those I love, but to everyone. May 2010 be good for us all.
