Something that maybe will put you on a spot on the now-not-so-high-hot content list.
Currently at October 10, 2009, 3:08 pm central time, on the hot content list, all the sites are different. And those are the, in my opinion, “main sites” or ones that have the heaviest amount of traffic (this would exclude: Authspot, Telewatcher, Kleep, Picable, AThingforcars, loudio) you got the picture. Now days, the longest an article stays on the list is no more then 5 days, unlike back in the day where the 6 killer plagues article was there for months, so if your goal is to get on the list then write a WELL WRITTEN article that has to do with the hot content article that has been there the longest, and this case it would be: the Cat or Computer article.
Honestly, if your goal here is to get on this list then you are wasting your time as I think a few of my articles should be on hot content but I have not even smelt this list.
I must say very interesting observation. I didn’t realise that actually. I did feel that articles to do with pets (or cat like you said) and computer/Triond articles always stayed on the list for a seriously long time but I never really thought much about it because it was written by really prolific writers. Maybe you have really cracked the code of how the Hot Content list really works if you want to stay there for a while. Really good observation. And personally, not just saying to suck up to you or anything but I do feel that some of your articles should be on the Hot Content list especially the one on Obama’s speech and the other one that was on teen love. I felt those really made a point that others had to read. Your time will come
