A brief mind-riot on thoughts and mood.
For many centuries, humans have shown their very human thoughts on arts, inscriptions, writings, and other human doings. This implies a society, which in turn implies a civilization of sort. What has been already done is an imitation of history, as such is evident in archaeology and other sources. One clear consequence of human activities is its transition throughout society of societies. Ideas, tools, and technology were transmitted and exchanged at various periods, thereby spreading a woven culture over lands. Such transition cannot be broken easily, and humans seem to be quite capable of this.
Here we are in the post-modernist present day. Everything is falling apart outward. We have reached the point of history when humans are capable of breaking the link among every society. Thus, I emphasize this point, because thoughts and moods were two different things. Today, thoughts and moods are no longer two ‘different’ things. They seems so indifferent that they are random in the Information Age. Thoughts imply a mood, and mood imply thoughts. Thoughts is exterior, as mood is interior. Mood changes indicate changes in thoughts, and vice versa. Instead of thoughts and moods, I intend to write on the ‘thoughtless mood’.
The subject focus on thoughtless mood is difficult one. It is neither composed of thoughts nor mood, but rather a ’submood’ conscious one. It is not interior or exterior. Thoughtless mood is much like a vacuum of space. It is one that is far worse than the abyss disymal of humanhood. Such occurences are observed in the Information Age today. It is one of most profound depart from civiliztions, toward seemingly uncivilized and anarchy. 21st century seems to be in the period of ‘dark age’ or ‘thoughtless mood’.
If ideas can be transmitted, then, does thoughtless mood be able to do so also? The very existential of darkness is looming larger everyday. Technology might be, in part, to be blamed, yet that is understated naviety. People underestimated the powerful force. Thoughtless mood can be swept into any society easily, and cleansed them of spirits and souls. That suggests a breakdown in public order, hence, the key to the fall of civilizations.
I hope that thoughtless mood won’t ever happen. Or does it even exist at all?
