Well, here we go.  This is my first attempt at a blog.  Ever.  I wonder how it will turn out.

I don’t know why I wanted to start a blog, I just thought it’d be a fun thing to do while the laundry is in the wash and I’m cooking dinner.  It’s pasta, so I don’t have to keep watch over it like the guy outside my bedroom window does to me.  Hopefully it’ll turn out alright.

I got my new computer yesterday, which is what I’m currently using to write this blog.  I’m using Microsoft Word Starter.   The reason for this being that I don’t think my Office Product Key shipped with the computer, so I’m reduced to the basic necessities.  I should call tech support later.

I just got home from Pirates of the Caribbean 4.  It was okay, I didn’t really get into it as many soulless, vapid movie-goers do.  It’s probably because I’m not soulless or vapid.  Yeah, that’s probably a good hypothesis to go off of.  I got refreshments, and as I asked for my drink, a Hi-C, the clerk asked me “Medium or large?”  I said medium.  Whatever happened to small sizes?  I guess it’s America’s standard that bigger is better.  You would’ve thought people would’ve taken Supersize Me into more serious detail.  Oh well.  The Hi-C was watered down anyway.

Summer’s almost here.  I’m a sophomore in a small town that no one’s ever heard of.  I have one last “actual day” of school, and then finals.  I have to take Carpentry and Biology.  Carpentry is a state-required exam.  I don’t understand it either.

Hopefully I can cook some al dente pasta.  That’d be nice, a variation from the hard, crunchy stuff I usually make.  It’s really hot right now; I shouldn’t have put it in my mouth.  I spit it out into the sink.  You could say it was like “The Inferno” from Dante (Dente!).  Expect one or two puns in these next couple of blogs.  They’re going to be awful.  Probably not as bad as that one but still….
