INT. MALL, Hall. DAY

TRENT(Teen) walks into the mall, proudly past all of the “non-trendy” weirdoes.

TRENT

(Excited)

Ok! So I was talking to Lindsay yesterday and she said that H&M has the new

Justin Bieber shoes! I just need to get those shoes! If I show

Up on Monday without those shoes… It’ll be horrible! Terrible even!

My social life will be completely ruined! I need those shoes…. There’s nothing wrong with that, is there?

Trent continues to walk through the mall, always commenting on the passer-byers.  As Trent passes by a girl from school, he rolls his eyes.

TRENT (CON’T)

(Attitude)

See her? Her hair cut? It’s completely old! It’s just a rip off of Selena Gomez’s hair,

and even Selena knew to cut it! Ugh, now I can understand why our school gets no publicity, we’re all

ugly and uninformed!

Trent smiles, when he sees H&M, he pulls on the door, but the door doesn’t budge.

INT.MALL, Outside, H&M. DAY

TRENT

(Angry)

Closed?Closed? You can’t close a store when Trenton Reeves wants in!

Trent pauses, and reads the sign just above the door. PUSH.

TRENT (CON’T)

(Annouyed)

Push…. Honestly? This must be the ONLY store in the whole mall that still uses push doors!

Get with the fricking program!

Trent rolls his eyes, walking into the store.

INT.MALL, H&M.DAY.

TRENT

(Frustrated)

Where.Are.The.Shoes!? Hello? I want my shoes! I need my shoes!

Just give me the shoes!

Trent continues to make a mess of the store, trying to find his prized shoes.  He finds the shoes, but quickly returns to his rage.

TRENT (CON`T)

(Annouyed)

These…. These are the shoes? These are nothing but a cheap rip-off of the real shoes!

It`s not wrong to want to have style, and I want style. But I can’t show up on

Monday with knock offs, people would be able to tell! And then, my social life is ruined!

Trent is asked to leave the store, and is escorted out.

INT. Mall, Outside H&M. Day.

TRENT

(Yelling)

They`ll regret this.  I mean, they say Im insane…. But I’m not. Right? Right? Of course not! I can’t believe

I even thought that for a moment!  They`ll regret this. All the stores do.

Trent drops down to his knees.

TRENT (CON`T)

(Begging)

Ok, forget what I said!

I need those cheap, and I mean incredibly cheap knock offs!

I need to stay in style… Even if they are fake!

I`ll never be able to show my face in school again! Please?
