For those who don’t know, ADD medicines such as Adderal or Vivance speed up the heart rate to help people with ADD or ADHD to concentrate.  Also to calm them down for hyperactive cases.  I find that these medicines are being widely abused by the people supposed to be taking them, and there friends.  It is a similar euphoria that is found in cocaine,just not as deadly. In my opinion, I’d say that out of all the kids I know who are prescribed these meds(about 5), 75 percent abuse them and 100 percent have tried to sell them to me. Claiming they will make school fun, and will make everything I do feel “right.”  If that is my statistic for the people I know, imagine the statistic for our country.  Parents who are buying these medicines for there kids are basically supplying them with extra cash and supplying their neighborhood with amphetamines.  And the worst part is most doctors are just trying to get a quick buck from supposedly helping the parents child with there ADD.
