Adam was always my favorite contestant, since the beginning of American Idol Season 8. His audition was so genuine and unique and I knew that he would go very far in the show. Every performance of his was amazing. He has such an amiable personality too, and his heart is very pure as far as politeness goes. When the finale came, I was confident that he would win. By the way, his performance with KISS was heartwhelming, I enjoyed every second of it, from the shoulder pads to the glittery eyes to the how many inch platform heels. He seemed perfectly at home with the band, unlike the other contestants who seemed to be backing into the distance instead of standing out. When Kris Allen was announced the winner, I was flabbergasted. I was absolutely stunned. I actually did cry, but I’m an emotional person. I knew that America had gotten it wrong and I’m sure the judges knew that too. Simon did not even stand and clap like the other judges did. Now, I’ve realized that Arkansas developed this kind of knowledge on “speed texting”. I’m not very sure how, but what I’ve heard is that AT&T (or something) taught voters how to send only one text which would count as ten votes. AT&T did not, however, teach the Adam Lambert fans at his parties. Which is cheating. So now, I’m hearing that American Idol will have a revote or just announce Adam as the winner. I was happy, but now, I’m not really sure. American Idol winners get stuck with a really lame contract and it might not do Adam any good. He’s already sure to be much more famous than Kris, so why should he even need American Idol? The contract would only take away some of his opportunities as an artist. So, I’m beginning to wonder whether or not I would really want Adam to be the winner of American Idol. It would probably be the greatest feeling ever. But he’s humble, and I’m sure he’s happy for Kris. Kris is a great guy, I must admit, but I’m much too dedicated to Adam to think of him at the moment. So what do you guys think? Will American Idol bring Adam victory, or just a really lousy contract?
