I was looking forward to being a Grandma, I would take aging as it comes, but should I have wrinkles and pimples on the same face?

I have never been a fanatic about looks, so wrinkles and sagging has not bothered me.  I have accepted that sometimes when I laugh, sneeze or trip, I may dribble a bit.  (I don’t understand how any of these are connected really, but I also don’t understand how my cell phone works)  But explain to me how it is fair to have wrinkles and pimples on the same face, how can one area start drying up like the Mohavi Dessert where another has become an oil slick off the Pacific Coast.

And to add insult to injury, my circle of friends that I grew up with are unable to support me on this quest for information.  It seems that 17 friends of mine, including my sister have all had their plumbing removed some time ago.  Does this seem odd to you?  They had all gone down to Branson, MO,  (A hot spot for old people, which I am now, hard to conclude) and called me to tell me how they wished I could have gone.  I explain that work prevented this trip, however the hot flash I was experiencing would have caught the cabin on fire.  I asked how the ladies were doing with the pre-menopausal, post-menopausal, or any pausal they were involved in.  Come to find out none of them were experiencing any of this because they had all had their plumbing removed.

Does this seem odd to anyone, that 17 women all from the same region had ailments so severe that they had no need for their reproductive organs?  I think some gynecologist in that area needed a new pool.

In conclusion I think many of the ailments we go to the doctor to find solutions to are normal body functions, they are not pleasant.  But they are necessary as to the life scheme of things, some are luckier than others, the symptoms only mildly affect their lives.  While others of us, have blown the significance of the pimple on our nose, into an earth shattering event, that will slowly destroy me.  Or maybe it is the mood altering hormones, that have made me write this antic dote, either way menopause is tough!
