I once thought this was good. What drug was I on?

Out in the depths of space, far away in another galaxy a slick gray disc-like craft glided through space. Flying past stars, and planets, and moons. It was traveling at an incomparable speed. Everything it passed blurred by and was impossible to indentify. It was approaching a meteor belt, and a thick one at that. So it began to slow down. It was still going very fast but not near as fast as before.

It swerved suddenly to avoid a huge meteor. Suddenly more and more appeared in front of it. It swerved to avoid all of them to. One after another. Rapid dodge, after rapid dodge. Suddenly one came out of nowhere and it crashed into it. The saucer began spiraling out of control. Right towards a black hole.

It spiraled right into the hole and it vanished suddenly. Leaving no trace of what just happened. Suddenly it reappeared in another galaxy, many light years away from the one the creatures in the saucer belonged to. The hole spit the saucer out and vanished again. The saucer spiraled out of control yet again towards a pretty blue planet. But those inside were to busy screaming to notice.

“Its a bird, its a plane, it-”

I cut off my friend suddenly. “What are you doing?” I asked.

She perked up and glanced over at me. I was giving her a strange look. A look that said she was crazy. “Well whenever there’s a strange object in the sky people yell that. Since you won’t help me and no one else is here I gotta do it.” my friend answered hyperly.

I put my arm over her shoulder. “Oakley, Oakley, Oakley. There is no object in the sky that’s strange. There’s a duck, over there is a balloon, and right there is an alien spaceship.” I said calmly suddenly catching myself. “A what!?” I looked back to where I claimed to have seen the spaceship.

Flying towards the field at top speed was a space ship. I couldn’t give it much of description. Other then gray and saucer shaped. The field was still calm. Flowers waved gently in the wind, birds chirped happily, and squirrels gathered up their nuts.

Suddenly the wind grew more intense. Anything that could blow was blowing. All animals ran and hid in their burrows. Birds fluttered away as fast as possible. Me and Oakley ducked down behind a large rock.

“Carissa, Carissa!! Aliens are coming. I wonder what they’re gonna look like.” Oakley said growing more excited.

“They’re gonna look like aliens and their gonna look gay.” I sighed. “I mean seriously. They’re probably gonna be green, with big black eyes, and look like something out of a bad anime.”

The saucer suddenly slammed into the Big Oak Tree. It flung off the tree and rolled across the grass tearing it up as it went. It finally skidded to a stop about 30 feet away from us. To my surprise it landed right side up. It was quiet now and nothing was happening. I blinked, scanned my nails, and lets out a huge sigh.

“These aliens sure are taking their time.” I sighed.

Finally the door slide open quietly. A slanted platform slid out until it touched the ground. All was quiet. No one spoke. No one even breathed waiting for the aliens to come.

I heard footsteps clanking and it got louder and louder. It sounded like there were a bunch of aliens. Finally out from the darkness of the saucer walked two aliens. That looked like Stegosauruses!! They were an odd shade of yellow with orange spikes. They had arched backs with small head held low. Both had four short stubby legs with 3 rounded nails on each foot. They had short tails that somehow appealed to me as cute. Large spikes ran down their entire backs. Starting at small then growing bigger. Right at the middle was the largest one. Then they started shrinking down the size until they reached almost nothing at the tail. They were kinda wearing clothes. It looked like someone tied a bunch of ribbons around their tops halves. The ribbon-like clothes only covered the top half and you could see their bodies from time to time. The shorter one had all black but the taller one had black and green. Both had something flung over their shoulders the looked like some sort of small bags. Some kind of handle stuck out of the top of each bag. Each was wearing a charm. One shaped like a moon, and one like a sun. The shorter one had something in its mouth.

“Aliens look alot like dinosaurs.” Oakley piped in.

“Those are dinosaurs nimrod. Its a Stegosaurus.” I yelled quietly shaking Oakley with great intensity.

“Oh.” Oakley mumbled cocking her head.

The first one sat down what he had in his mouth and pushed out the edges revealing it was a map. Or so I figured since I was 30 feet away and barely even noticed he had it in his mouth. The two of them bent down to look at the map.

“Where are we anyways? This doesn’t look like our home planet.” the shorter one asked.

“I don’t know.” the tall one answered. “I’ve checked the map 1,000 times and I’m telling you were lost. That damned black hole spit us out in another galaxy. This planet is completely abandoned.”

“And ugly.” the short one added.

I growled. “Our planet is not ugly. Or at least not this place. What makes his home planet so pretty huh? He sure is rude. Plus their both stupid. This is earth for crying out loud. I never knew aliens were so dumb. But I’m not gonna do anything. I’d hate to anger him. He’s still a dinosaur even if he is an herbivore.” I said in an annoyed tone. But you had to admit these two were pretty stupid. Their too quick to judge.

“Oh they speak English. Lets go over and say hi!” Oakley suddenly sudjested.

“Lets’s go over and say hi.” I mocked making my voice higher pitched. “Yeah that’s a good idea. Lets go greet the giant dinosaurs that have big spikes on their backs and probably a weapon nearby. Yeah that’s a good idea. NOT!!”

“Well you have any better ideas!?” Oakley asked raising her whisper a bit louder.

All the time the two dinosaur aliens had guided their eyes over to the noise. We continued to argue in hushed tones until finally a voice rose into our arguement immidiatly shutting us up “Ok what is going on over there?” I think it was the tall one who asked.

We both stuttered but neither spoke up. Suddenly Oakley spoke up ruining it. “Uh. BEEP!! I am, uh, malfunctioning, and uh, DY- wait robots don’t die. SHUTTING OFF. I am shutting off.” Oakley stuttered. I placed my hand over Oakley’s mouth motioning her to shut up.

Neither of them spoke. “Ok then.” the tall one said and turned back. I released a sigh of relief. Never did I think they’d fall for that. Those must have been some dang dumb aliens.

“What are we gonna do now!?” the short one went on with what they were doing.

The taller one straightened up. “How should I know. Were stuck on this planet. My idea was the map and it was worthless. Hows about you come up with one now?” the taller one sudjested.

The shorter one sat on his hind legs and cocked his head to the side and had a long moment of silence. The tall on simply glared at him until he spoke up. He stood up and proudly said, “Lets ask someone for help.” he smiled.

“Ask someone for help? ASK SOMEONE FOR HELP!?!? Who ya gonna ask the broken robot!? There’s absolutely NO ONE in this WASTELAND!!” the tall one yelled at the short one leaping up as he did so. He began breathing more heavy and growled at his partner. “That was by far one of the STUPIDEST ideas you’ve ever come up with.”

I sighed. “There are plenty of people here, and this ain’t a wasteland its a very lovely planet. What is he thinking insulting Earth. Its filled with wonderful things and wonderful people. Who does he think he is!? I’m gonna kill him.” I growled.

“Woah, woah, calm down. Aren’t you the one that said not to attack the giant Stegosaurus aliens? Anyways they don’t look happy right now I don’t think attacking them would be in your best interest.” Oakley harshly whispered back to me.

Both aliens glanced back over while we were fighting. The taller one walked up to the rock we were hiding behind and looked down at us from his side. Although neither one of us noticed him as we were too busy having a suppose to be quiet arguement. He stood quietly and listened to us.

“I don’t care!! I’m sick of these things insulting OUR home planet. I bet theirs SUCKS!! I wanna rip his head off and his friends too and feed them both to the pigeons!! I’d love to give them a piece of my mind.” I yelled trying to keep my voice lower.

When I noticed Oakley looked quite freaked out. “Well now’s your chance Carissa.” Oakley said in fright. I turned back and noticed the tall one hovering over us looking at us like we were crazy.

“You two are terrible at keeping quiet. You know that right?” said the creepy Stegosaurus alien.

I lept out from hiding with Oakley right behind me. “I got a bone to pick with you buddy!!” I yelled.

He rolled his eyes. “I know.” the tall one sighed. “I heard. Your angry for us insulting your home planet. So you wanna rip me and my brothers heads off and feed them to the pigeons. Whatever those are.” He smiled and gave me a look that said it all. He walked back to his brother and turned to us. “What?” he asked seeing something was bothering us.

“Why do aliens look like dinosaurs?” Oakley asked.

“Dino-wha?” the tall one asked. He chuckled. “I’m afraid that I’ve never heard of a dinosaur. You two are strange. Making up things that don’t exist.”

I about fell over. I growled deeply at him. “Your a Stegosaurus stupid!!! A DI-NO-SAUR!! I never knew aliens were gonna be so stupid. I mean you act like you don’t know anything. You don’t know your animals. Aliens are rude and stupid!!” I yelled and released a huge sigh afterwards. Both of them blinked. Apparently everything I said to them was like me suddenly deciding to speak Japanese. They didn’t get any of it.

“Don’t make them angry!!” Oakley cried.

“Oh don’t worry about us. Were very peaceful and won’t fight unless attacked.” the shorter one piped in.

“I can’t stand you two acting like your superior to us.” I growled. I walked up to them until I was only about 5 feet from the two. I looked at the tall one even though I said nothing. Suddenly I leaped at the tall one grabbing his legs and forcing him to fall to the ground.

“Were under attack brother!” the tall one called at he fell on his back.

Suddenly the short one rammed into me causing me to fall to the ground and slide across the grass. I quickly lept us despite the pain I was in. I jumped on the tall ones back and grabbed on to his spike. He suddenly bucked to try and knock me off. “Get off me!” he demanded. “Kevin get her off!!”

“I’m on it Lance.” Kevin the short one answered. He grabbed the handle that was sticking out of his bag and pulled it out by his mouth. When it was revealed to be a knife.

“Oh god!” I panicked and suddenly let go of Lance’s spike and rolled off his back. “No fighting. Please. I surrender. I don’t have a weapon.”

Lance smiled. “Good. Like we said, we don’t enjoy fighting and only do it if were attacked. But why you attacked us is a mystery to us.”

“Because your both annoying!! Fine. I’ll mess with your spaceship instead!” I shouted and with that ran through the door inside their space ship. Into the black darkness.

Lance and Kevin watched me run in. Kevin looked panicked but Lance was as calm as ever. “She won’t make it far Kevin. We have security. She’ll get caught in no time. But a strange species she is.” Lance said and chuckled. “She thinks were aliens. She’s the alien. She could prove useful to our experiments. New lifeforms. We should use her.” Kevin smiled in agreement. They both realized how much time they had wasted and went to go into the spaceship. Oakley ran at them and they shot around ready to charge. “You don’t go anywhere near our space shuttle or else.”

Oakley didn’t know what to do, so she did the first thing that came to her mind. “Oh my god!! Aliens that look like Stegosauruses are planning to take over the world by means I don’t know; even though they never technically mentioned that!!” Oakley panicked and ran off.

————————————

I ran farther down the halls. The walls, floor and ceiling were all the same grey as outside. Lights of all colors flashed on and off from time to time. I kept running straight ahead, my feet clanging on the metal floor. I came to a fork in the path. I could go right or keep going forward. I ran right without even stopping to think.

Then a huge room came into view about 15 feet ahead. “yes! The control room!” I cheered and ran for the room. Before I got in I was interrupted.

Suddenly an extremely loud alarm blared on and red lights flashed. I looked down to see motion sensor lasers. “Crap!” I growled. Suddenly the door in front of me was blocked by a cage. “Oh no! Its a trap! RUN!!”

I tore down the halls taking the paths I remembered coming from. Suddenly the path in front of me began to close up. I ran as fast as possible and dove barely making it under the closing in cage bars. I quickly got to my feet and ran.

When suddenly I came to a problem. I forgot the very first path I chose when I came in. I guessed right and ran down that path. I was starting to grow short on breath, but I panted to keep myself going. When suddenly. Another problem came up. This one worse then last time.

DEAD END!!!

I turned around to go back when suddenly a cage bars closed in on me leaving me locked in the corner. I grabbed the bars and pulled at them. “No!!! I went left not right.” I cried and fell on the floor. “Bonehead mistake.”

A minute or two later I heard voices. I was leaning against the wall but now I got up and went to the bars and looked out of them. No one. But I knew the voices as well as the back of my hand. Kevin and Lance.

“Well she must be here as we didn’t see her leave.” Lance said.

“Yeah, but it could take forever to find her.” Kevin sighed.

“Well let’s get looking. C’mon we’ll go down the left dead end path first.” Lance sudjested. “She’ll have to be here somwhere. Though I’d be surprised if she made it this far.”

I sat back down leaning against the wall again. But instead of hiding in the back I sat about halfway up. Not at the bars, but not in the back either. Moments later I saw Lance round the corner. “Well whadda know Kevin she did get this far.” Lance smiled.

Kevin rounded the corner next. “Wow. Your not as dumb as we thought.” Kevin said.

The two walked up to the bars and sat down waiting for me to speak up. I finally walked up to the bars and grabbed them. The two dinosaur-like aliens stood up and took a step back. “Please let me outta here!!” I pleaded. “I don’t wanna be locked up in this corner cage. I just wanna go home.”

“Well, we had no use for you.” Lance began. He pressed a button on a remote control I never even noticed he had. The bars rose up letting me get out.

“Oh thanks god.” I cheered running a couple feet ahead right past where the bars sat down. “I’m so glad I-” I paused. The way he worded his sentence caught my eye. “Wait you said had. Had is a past tense word.”

“Exactly” Kevin smiled.

“What!?” I panicked.

Lance took a step closer to me. I flinched back when his head went closer to my stomach as I figured he was gonna headbutt me or something. But no pain. Well there was a pinching feeling on my arms. But dinosaurs can’t pinch. I looked down to see my arms locked in bright red cuffs. “What are you doing? What ever happened to peaceful species!?”

“We are peaceful. Were not attacking you or anything.” Kevin pointed out. “Just taking you in for a few tests and such.”

“Tests!?” I cried in panic.

“Yepp now get moving.” Lance smiled and lightly headbutted me pushing me forward. “Don’t wanna hog up all our time. Don’t you worry. We’ll let you go back to your strange ways after a while.”

I growled, but had no choice but to go with them. Lance walked in front of me and Kevin behind me. So if I slowed down Kevin would give me a good headbutt to make me speed up. I had a new thought on aliens now; or dinosaurs. They’re alot smarter then I thought, and much ruder.

The two of them tossed me in a glass container. “This is what we put our experiments in. Nice ain’t it. Its a brand new design.” Lance taunted watching me inside freaking out. I kicked the glass and all that happened was my foot was in pain.

“Agh!! That hurts like hell!!” I cried and leaped back finally landing with a plop almost crying from pain.

Kevin laughed. “If you try to attack in in any way its gonna return back all the force of you attack at you. So kicking, hitting, and tackling it aren’t good ideas. Unless your trying to kill yourself.”

With one last chuckle Kevin and Lance both walked out. I moaned and pushed myself forward so I could grab my foot. The cuffs made it hard to do much. Or at least with my hands. Finally the pain subsided and I landed with a plop on the floor. I had to get out of here as fast as possible. In case yall haven’t noticed Kevin and Lance the Stegosaurus Aliens are kinda wacko. I wondered what Oakley was doing. At least she seemed to have escaped all this. I finally decided to start thinking of a plan.
