Altering the Past

This is what I think will happen if you alter the past.

Lets say in the year 2074 humans finally master time and we are able to travel backwards in time. You go back into the past and you meet your great great grandparents when they were 16. You and your great great father get into a fight and you end up killing him. Well your great great grandfather then couldn’t of had your great grandmother which means you technically wouldn’t exist but if you didn’t exist how could you kill your great great grandfather?

That is the issue. I believe if something like this ever did happen the universe you are existing in would split like a fork in the road. You would essentially create an alternate universe. You would live in a new universe of the present time where you altered the past and you would’ve left the universe of the present which is now the future. Theoretically you wouldn’t be able to get back into the old dimension because u no longer exist there and you would indefinatly stay in the new dimension or universe you created.

OK I liked it but you could write more about it. It needs more content. It is good and you get my attention but you need more to wrap it up and sell it good stuff check out some of my works leave me a comment I will do the same add me as a friend I will be happy to help If I can god bless

Time can never be manipulated only superimposed on, think of it as a failsafe. I guess that’s why God never went back to fix things.

Our time line is fixed,if we try to manipulate it we will only manage to create another dimension.

this is such an interesting topic, i think you could have taken it so much farther. what you do have is well written, but I think you are smart enough to go into more details and thoughts, especially on a subject with such limitless possibilities. Keep writing though, it seems like you have some good ideas floating around in your head, just work on expanding them.
