Beautiful Palace

A kingdom ruled by an ambitious King. He managed his kingdom at his best and nothing he could aspire for, because everything is in his kingdom. Beautiful palace, abundance,wealth, an adoring Queen, and everything he wants, he has.

Bear Foot

On the life boredom, he had in his thought to try walking bear foot around his kingdom. So early morning he started walking all highways and rough roads in his kingdom.

It was almost sun set. He found his feet aching and swelling all over. The subject bring the king home. Then he rested. The following morning the king ordered all his advisers for a meeting. Every counselor was summoned to attend the meeting.

Everybody was present during the meeting. And the king announced his purpose, why he called for a meeting. And the king said: I want you tell all people in my kingdom to cover all roads with leather and carpets. So, when I will walk around, my feet won’t get hurt and swell.

Some hesitate and argue. But my king your plan is almost impossible. Where will we get leather and carpets as wide as your kingdom?  The king insisted and angry. You must do what I commanded you to do. You can kill all the animals, and cover the kingdom with their furs.

The youngest counselor stood up and pay respect to the king, and said: My honorable king your proposal is good. But it would be the best if we will find the finest leather, make it into your most comfortable shoes. Which is realistic and achievable at this time. Later, we can construct cemented road all over your kingdom.

The king happily agreed. And that was the beginning of the invention of the leather shoes for a king, and for all of us in this modern world.
