Congress apologize for slavery.

APOLOGY or MOCKERY

MARCUS LACEWELL

The USA is seen as a ‘World Power’ that regulates over many nations.  As history shows, the US will declare war on any nation that undermines the US’s laws.  But, what happens when the US undermines its own laws?  A good example of this is slavery.

Most European Americans(whites) see the German Holocaust as being worse than slavery and the Trail of Tears. Why is that?  Both involved senseless murder.  Yet, slavery, and continuous oppression, does not immediately kill.  A form of torture rests in the ingredients.  It is said that this has completely changed.  If this were true, why do we sustain some of the same laws that were made to enslave.  Or, is slavery so inter-twinned in our origination that we must die with it?

Which is worse, a monster with one head, or a monster with many heads?  Hitler was just one person, a monster with one head.  Slavery was an idea created by many, a monster with many heads.  Yet, congress mocked the US judicial system by apologizing for slavery.

When has an apology ever nullified suffering?  I ask:  if a serial killer, or a serial rapist, apologizes, does that ease the pain of their actions.  And, what if their actions continue.  Now, does racism, or the effects of slavery, still plague our economy?  So, why should congress’ apology be accepted.  Unlearn.
