If we go back to the beginning right at creation, whether you think there is a God or not, somebody or something is responsible for creating out of the void that existed nobody has been able to argue beyond that. For some one like me who believes in the Creation game being an artist becomes an easy game. I have a Master to imitate. God said, “Let the be light”, and there was light. He saw it and perceived it, and spoke it into being by faith and his spirit started creating the whole showcase of the creation as we now know it. Since then everything that has ever been created is created twice. First in the mind(imagination) and second by our hands as we work out the details.

Perception: is quite big for me as an artist; honestly if I can’t see it I can’t draw it or write it. I actually perceive more than I look thus my spirit awakens me to certain subjects and that draws my attention and ideas start to flow. My spirit is illuminated by the Spirit of God. If I try to create without involving my whole being the work is flat and nobody seems to pay attention to it. When yo see deep and you create from the heart then your work will touch another person’s heart also. Movie directors will tell you if the story does not touch the heart there is no movie. Helen Keller saw more than most people with 20/20 vision, she did not depend on her eye sight. Loosing her sight became her greatest strength. If you want to really see you have to use your inner eyes.

Observation: you have to study a subject long enough to understand it. Even a sketch if drawn with a keen observant eye it becomes a masterpiece. When writing a story developed and strong characters come out of daily observations of the writer or story teller.

Originality and creation: This you can not do without knowing the source of your light. The same subject is observed in different light angles. Any artist who wants to be illuminated and become the best that has ever been understands the source of light. In art we say black is the absence of light and in order for you to bring out the form of a subject line and light plays a very crucial role. You can only see both the negative and positive spaces in the light that is available. With darkness you will create a void that can later be a trap for your own down fall but if you create out of an illuminated heart with the right source of light no one can tell what beauty and glory you can bring on earth.
