Yes, I know. geeky.

So i am a firm believer that everyone should have dreams. My dream, sense i was a kid, was to find atlantis.

Ya, I know right, I just lost 10 points on the Dark, morbid trendy scale.

Well, Shit, It happens.

But like i said, My Dream is to find it, So i have been researching it alot.

For some reason i don’t picture it being in the middle of the ocean, The description of its location is past the pillars of hercules, Across the sea. Well that would be, over some distance, America, More specifially from central america, Farther south. What i personally believe, it was place somewhere on the coast of south america, Maybe further into the actual inland. Most likely it was placed on a delta. I believe that some type of Tsunami or earthquake may have shifted the silt of the delta, causing it to temporairly turn into quicksand. Now i know its a stretch but maybe it just so happened that the biblical flood, Which even scientists don’t deny could have been a reality, If on a smaller level, Just happened to be caused by the same natural forces that buried atlantis.

Look at it this way. If an earthquake happed mid atlantic, Either caused by a large volcanic euruption, Or by shifting plates, It would send waves out at a 360 degree angle. The shifting earth could cause tsunamis to form, giant waves moving in every direction, Which if they pushed up into the mediteranian would cause flooding along the coasts, which could flood major parts of syria, Leading to the dead sea.

At the same time, If atlantis, Being placed on the coast of south america, The waves, and shifting of the earth could cause the sand, and or silt to shift, being covered in water, Possibly forming wquick sand, Quickly swallowing the ancient city. at the same time, between the tsunamis slamming into the costal city, and the quicksand would give the impression of the ocean swallowing the city, And to any seabound vessels either returning, or leaving, with lack of scientific explanation would believe it an act of god, and with both events happening in a chain, it may have been possible for the entire city to have been destroyed in near enough a night and a day. But thats just my hypothesis, If anyone knows of any scietifical reason for my hypothesis to be wrong let me know.

I seriously wish you the best of luck on your search for Atlantis. I have my own reasons for wanting it to be found, but I am with you in spirit and if you ever need any help with your research, let me know. I have more time than most.
