So I’m back from vacation, take a seat and checkout how it went.

I checked out the local Caraba’s near th e beach the night before we left. The food was so good, it makes me want to throw it up and eat it all again. It may have been about $15/person, but I would say that it was money well spent. Our waiter asked if we wanted anything special or even iv we wanted anything a certain way, and another cook came out with cheese and a grater and asked anyone if they wanted cheese! Talk about natural quality assurance! It was amazing. Our chef kind of looked like Adam Sandler…

Earlier on vacation, when we went biking, we headed south. The wind blew so hard at us, it slowed us down about 5 milers per hour for the Southern direction. On our way back, the wind propeled us as if we were going down a hill. At some points, I saw other bikers, this was inspiring as we raced for a certain section of our (my father and my) race. One day, we stopped at the local Food Lion and bought our groceries, then put them into our bike baskets and brought them with us back to the hotel.

The only two downsides to the above two awesome propelants of the vacation was the amount of people at the “Broadway at the Beach” and the turbulence of the ocean waves. There was probably 6,000 people in an area for 6,200. Very smooched if you ask me. The other bad part was the frequency of the waves, the amount of rip current forcing you to either dodge the waves, fight against them, go under them, or just get out of the water and move back to your original position… 10-20 yards away.

Overall, it was phenominal. Anyone wanting to go on vacation: DO IT!
