Ever seen a show that shows world’s stupiest criminals?  Well add the Somali pirates to that list. 

     Monsoon season is dwindling in the Indian Ocean so pirate attacks are on the rise.  This time though, thinking they were shooting at a cargo ship, it turned out to be a French navy flagship.  A hour long chase ended up with the capture of one of the boats with five men aboard.  Apparently they had thrown everything else overboard because no weapons had been found.  The second boat wasn’t ever captured.

     Somali has had no true government since 1991.  And with the ocean waters becoming calmer with the end of monsoon season, it seems lawlessness will escalate again.
