Have you ever noticed how women have a different standard than men physically but the same standard intellectually? Women are expected to be weaker than men, but equal in every other aspect. This proves that society does not believe women capable of competing with men physically, but men and women are equal in intelligence.

Now remember back to when you were in school. Girls and boys were graded based on their performance, regardless of gender, for every class, except P.E. A boy would dominate a girl with the same mark, but it is widely accepted that girls get cut a break when it comes to P.E.

Since girls have it easy in physical aspects of life, shouldn’t boys also get a break in a certain area? The answer is no. The reason is, logically, that society deems men superior to women. This is confirmation that men can do everything that women can; but better.

Women, historically, were not allowed to vote. Now there must have been a reason why only men were allowed to vote; maybe the people didn’t believe that women could be trusted, or women were viewed as unreliable. These kinds of stereotypes, like legends and rumors, are often based on facts and real events, which leads me to believe that women earned their inability to vote.
