Guidelines for the do and don’ts of cell phone usage…
How annoying is it when you are stuck in an elevator and cell phones begins to ring? How about at church and right in the middle of the preacher speaking the cell phone goes off! I can’t stand that!
I can understand people who may need them for their job; like fireman, policeman, nurse’s, doctors etc. They need to have their cell phones for emergencies, but they have enough sense to put it on silence. I mean it really is about the respect of others around.
Nothing like being at the doctor’s office and hearing the whole conversation about what the doctor informed you of. Nobody needs to hear all of that! No one really wants to anyway! Step outside when the phone rings to take your call. Tell the receptionist were you are so they can get you. Just don’t take the call in the office. If you do, you might get the stare down! Yeap! The stare down. I mean the hard core stare.
It should be a given that at certain places cell phones are not allowed. Not unless you take it outside the building. Anyone agree?
In closing, always be respectful on your cell phone. Think about the people around you. Try putting those phones on silence when they need to be. Do this to not int erupt the people around you! This is much appreciated by any and all of us around!
