It is usually hard changing whoever I am but for now I am only thinking of a different me. this might work for now.
I WANT TO BECOME A BETTER ME!
There are so many things that I wish to stop doing. Still the majority on my list is of those things that I want to start doing. This simply means that I want to change a lot about me. I want to change me… to be a better me!
The things that I want to avoid
…wait, these have always been part of me… I believe this is going to be hard but since these make me the person I am and that which I want to change, I will provide the list:
1.
2. Watching the English Premier League or football altogether; I found out that I watch soccer a lot and as far as sparring time for academics is concerned I will scale down and then stop almost immediately.
3. Fatty foods, a lot of sugar etc. You know what they say but this time I am doing more than just promising I will STOP For the obvious reasons
4. Taking illicit brews someone I know lost sight
Laziness: I will stop the last minute rush. I will read for exams long before they are due and avoid photocopying my friends’ assignments minutes before the submission time. ’LORD HELP ME’
Things I want to do.
1. Learn to get satisfied. Someone told me that when you learn to accept things the way they are and appreciate whatever little you get, you find your mind always at ease and the feeling that your life has some value. I liked the sound of this.
2. Resume church attendance. I can imagine my church attendance graph is behaving like the graph of the higher you go the cooler…
3. Exercising. I ready something interesting about exercising. That is all (but this will make a better me)
4. Learn to keep deadlines. This is like a cancer to me, but hopefully I will
5. Waking up on time. Am going to start obeying the alarm clock over the quantity of sleep still left in the morning.
6. Start liking the local soccer league over the English premier league- I read something about being loyal to your country and its fruits in terms of nation building
7. BETTY: I have to ensure that she changes her NO into NOT NOW or anything better
