do you ever get tired of hearing how offended everyone is by one thing or another?  the atheist is offended by anything to do with Christianity, the Christians are offended by everything Muslim, right wingers are offended by the left wingers, left wingers are offended by the right wingers and so on and so on and so on.  its absolutely ridiculous. the world we now live in, gives us so many greater things to worry about than who said what and who does it offend. we have an economy that is failing miserably, the highest unemployment rates in history, crime on the rise, not enough teachers, not enough policemen to name a few and we worry about a name of a professional sports team (that by the way has been the name since its inception) will offend a  race of people.  we worry about not offending children and parents in schools by letting everyone make the team and don’t keep score  and everyone wins.?  and even though the country claims in polls to be over 90% christian, we cater to the other 10% (atheists, agnostics) so we don’t offend them by actually putting the word CHRIST in Christmas or God forbid  show the 10 commandments in public.  where has this attitude of not offending, came from?  when did it become more important to be politically correct than actually correct?  if we spent less time being offended and more time working on the greater problems of this country, this world, think how much more we would accomplish!!
