No real achievements or grades:

You really should be thinking about retaking your exams or looking for a job which requires minimal grades such as a job in a shop or simple thing like part time jobs while you redo your exams, mail boy, assistant, etc

1-4 grades:

Although you do not need to retake any exams, it may be worthwhile in the long run. It is recommended at this level you take an apprenticeship with a firm. However you should also be thinking of perhaps opening a business. Many famous businessmen like Alan Sugar have actually left school with few GCSES but to become a famous business tycoon

5-7 grades:

Well done you have achieved enough to move onto higher education. For college/sixth form, you should selectively pick your best subjects, or the subjects you achieved our best grades. After your A levels you may want to consider leaving for  a job or going to university

8 grades and above

You have done exceptionally well, and if you have lots of A’s, you are on your way to becoming very successful. You should definitely take higher education and from there, go to university as you will have more open choices, or get into a good job
