Punk’s Last Raw.
“ Big Time Punked in Bean Town”
As the ratings for both WWE shows hit year long lows last week, the saga of CM Punk unfolded a little more Monday night in front of John Cena’s people at the Boston Garden. You know that big things are going on when the Chair of the Board makes an appearance two weeks in a row on TV ( didn’t Vince say about a year ago that his on screen character was done).

The hook for the night is that Vince and Punk are going to have the first live contract negotiations on the middle of the ring. Of course has to interrupt the opening segment of the show with his two cents so it will get the whole crowd into it . The thing is that now even in Boston he’s getting his normal fifty split on whether they like him or not so once again they are blowing another chance to turn Cena Heal. Oh well I’m sure there will be others. But it is time to face a few facts. Punk is right now the best promo guy they have in the company . Nobody Has played off of Vince like he has in a very long time. If its just the fact that he is leaving and he just doesn’t care that’s one thing but when n you get this kind of play from people inside the business that’s something new entirely .

Kelly Kelly has been doing a decent job in her ongoing feud with the Bella Twins. She has come a fairly long way from the days of ECW and Kelly’s Exposure . I have a sinking feeling that a by product of this whole thing will be the Bell’s turning on one another but until the bun in Kong’s oven bakes it’s way out , this is what you have. Another one is trying out Melina as a heal before they show her the door. The only real thing that keeps her around is the fact that she is attached to John Morrison’s what ever so until that goes sour they’re stuck with her.

On the Impact front . There was an X division sighting this past Sunday as TNA decided to showcase all of their young X talent with their Ultimate X PPV this past Sunday. They have been using Abyss to try and sell the death of the division and Brian Kendrick came up big . Also one of the best rivalries was renewed when Jerry Lynn and RVD went toe to toe in a brutal bout with Van Dam squeaking out a win against the X division founder.. The most surprising part of this whole thing is that TNA the next day cut loose a very promising tag team. Are you paying attention up their in the land of Springer and Pouvich Vince.
I am looking forward to this Sunday , not because I think they will do the right thing and get a deal done with punk, but just to see How badly they will screw it up. I can just see the little hamster in Jim Cornette’s head going full speed on the wheel, “ CM Punk, CM Punk, CM Punk……
