The Triumph of Israel.
I think when we find ourselves focusing on dark skinned men and women. As black we should remember that the Lord works with the lighting of his show. God has a show. We know each other behind the scenes we give each other, sometimes in order to recognise those we love.
Dark Skinned people live in India and Egypt and Lebanon and Africa. The islanders will always be with us, but then maybe not. American has a significant black population but that might be in the way of their contributions not so much their number.
Israel is the call for the Eastern World and Black Israel is a reality. The triumph of Black Israel over their enemies will mean peace in Lebanon, Security and Success in India, respect for Egypt and recognition of Africa.
In this country the NFL is heavily black. Thanksgiving is a day with which the black people will always be identified. The veterans hospital in Coatesville is black for the most part. Doctor Latoff and his son and the whole family, Turkish, Iranian, and Irish (Ann), were the touchstone of law and order in Coatesville and the long wait for the salvation of the Middle East could not be missed by someone like me.
I think the curtains of God’s stage will come down on the New Jerusalem. America was a glimpse of that. President Ronald Reagan said we are a City on a Hill. Dark Skinned people fill a need that God’s people have. Somewhere between the show and the life there is a place where we all come together. We are being led. The Pathfinder is our life in these days of great change. Dark Skinned people are the Pathfinder. They grasp the essentials and represent them tirelessly. I am like that somewhat myself. I am a Martha that is happiest when a Mary. It is a return to source, like a man calling out in a cavern to map his way, that guides us.
The expression “we’re freed” means that the problem enslaving us to the point of torture is met and solved. Black people “are freed”, not because there was a situation in the south at the time of the Civil War, but because their patient persistence as a minority in the East is the evidence of faith, determination and forgiveness. We will, all of us, one day find ourselves together in the land of milk and honey, after a mad carousel of migration from the territorial islands has come to a stop.
Then the music of Black Israel’s tradition, still alive in the Christian Church, will reward us for allowing God his stage and allowing ourselves to see the other for who they are in our lives.
