Sometimes when react to a situation it’s not how we really feel about it.
When I was young my step mother constantly badgered me about having a negative attitude. She would ask me why i was mad all the time. The truth is most of the time i wasn’t mad at all. Sometimes when someone uses a specific facial expression the body language of the person can be read incorrectly. In my case my mother assumed i was mad when i wasn’t. Everyone has different types of body language in which some people think they know what your thinking. When someone assumes something about someone it can cause serious conflict in the relationship. The best course of action is to just be honest and ask in a polite way what they mean or ask them to explain. In certain situations thou this can be difficult especially if you are meeting someone for the first time. Of course every person gives off a vibe whether positive or negative. The best option is communication. Sometimes reading someones body language incorrectly can screw up a good first impression especially a job interview. In my life i have been brutally honest with people which i think is the best policy. Have you ever met someone you were really interested in but wondered if they really liked you. In this situation how can you assume they have no interest if you fail to ask to meet for a cup of tea or whatever your fancy is. Missed opportunity’s will turn into regrets down the road.
