Why do our children what to put holes in there body? I can understand wanting pierced ears if you are a girl. And I mean just one on each ear. Maybe I am showing my age here, but I don’t understand boys and men wanting to wear earrings? For that matter I do not understand putting an earring in your naval, lip and this one really gets me, your nose! Now just by writing this article I will probably hear about it. Simply because I have a very dear friend who I consider one of my kids, that has her tongue pierced, her nose pierced her eyebrow and one in her naval. And if she has any other ones I don’t want to know where they are!! I mean come on.

The thing I want to know is what good are they. Like the one on your tongue? Does it help you to eat better or maybe it is used to help in loosing weight? My favorite is the nose picking earring! I mean come on. What happens when you have a cold and a runny nose? That is just nasty to me. Alright so we all no that those are not the only places that they are now putting piercings. I have learned that there are a few very private places that they are now putting them. I will not tell you where, but I will ask the question, did it not hurt????? Makes me want to cross my legs and never open them again! Granted I am a grandmother so maybe I am a little old fashioned but I can’t help it. I mean what happens if they where to get an infection in some of those unmentionable places that they have put a piercing. And from what I understand girls or women are not the only ones that put them in those places!!!!
