A book report. Duh.

Book Report On Matilda

The character I sketched from the book Matilda by Roald Dahl is Miss Trunchbull. She is a gigantic holy terror monster that always marches, she has lots of muscles around her body, and a very cruel face. She wears extremely old clothes with an enormous wide belt with an enormous silver buckle. I think she is very mean and bad-looking.

This book makes me feel angry. It makes me angry because Mr. and Mrs. Wormwood (Matilda’s Parents) doesn’t care about Matilda. For example, when Matilda asks for a book, her dad says she’s spoiled and refuses to give her a book, and also one day when Mr.Wormwood was in a bad mood and saw Matilda reading a book, he tore and ripped the library book. I would not like to have parents like Matilda’s.

The author of this book, Roald Dahl, was born on September 13,1916 in Llandaff, South Wales, United Kingdom. After his education, he had different kind of jobs. First, in July, 1934 he joined a Shell Petroleum Company, after that, in November, 1939, he became a Royal Air Force officer to fight World War 2, he was lucky to have survived. He was inspired to wrote books after telling his children bedtime stories. He died on November 23, 1990 at the age of twenty four. He wrote book like The Witches, The Twits, The BFG, Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Danny the Champion of the World, etc. I really like the book Matilda and Roald Dahl’s other books.
