In this article, I explain why I have a crush on giant robot alien, and scientist supreme Perceptor.

Next in the “fake guys that I have a crush on” series comes Perceptor.  <img src=”http://www.insecticons.com/images4/Ravyn-Perceptor-01.jpg” alt=”" width=”65%” align=”left” />Some friends and I recently started a new table-top RPG, Transformers style.  I’m playing a headmaster who is an organic hopelessly in love with Perceptor through this whole backstory thing.  I don’t know how many of you are Transformers fans, but Perceptor is G1 Scientist Supreme, if I’m not mistaken. A super-genius who excels in metallurgy, energy distortions- this is probably my favorite-Cybertronians have “sparks” instead of “souls”, the electromagnetic field that surrounds humans and other living things allowing us to perform most neurological functions- and, well lots of other things.  He’s also a sniper, though he would much rather be in laboratory then a battlefield.  But when Optimus asks you to do something, you do it.

I want to send some major cudos to one of my RL friends for inventing what we here in immature-ville like to call, “the robojob”.  I had pretty much seduced Perceptor, but in my organic form, I couldn’t have sex the way that Cybertronians do.  They literally open their chambers and meld sparks; it’s supposed to be really intense.  So I gave up.

But then, my friend was like, “Maybe you could use your psychic powers to manipulate his spark!”

I was playing a gray who was becoming a headmaster.  It made sense.  I rolled.

20.

Motherfucking 20.

So, good for Perceptor.  :)
