Fear of never feeling safe.

Chaos

Waken in the middle of the night by the sound of someone pounding against the window pane, heart racing as you jump up to investigate.  Oh no you think, not him again wondering why he will not leave you alone.  Fear grips your heart and your stomach is tied into knots, as shakily you dial 911. The police finally arrive, illuminating the room with the blare of their bright light. This is the same old story once again, and you wonder will you ever feel safe. Sleepless nights are piling up and the toil begin to show on your face, as you try to keep your dark secret from the world outside. You’re a victim of emotional and physical abuse. Afraid to share your fear and scare to fight back, as you feel like mush on the inside. Your self esteem has dropped to a new low, as you protect the illusion that everything is fine. You continue smiling on the outside while your life is filled with chaos.

I truly can relate to this poem, my sister was a victim of abuse, and now she’s gone. Women do what ever it takes to protect yourselves. Share the information you don’t have to be alone.

Abuse, of any kind, to anyone, should not be tolerated. Women, especailly need to find the courage to say,”enough.” Good article

Chaos is happening to everyone at some time or another in their lives.
