“Look for the woman”.
I read somewhere that women are more evil than men. The above phrase is a French phrase that basically means that whenever there is a problem, blame it on the woman. I think this goes all the way back to the story of Adam and Eve from the Bible. According to John Milton’s Paradise Lost, Eve, or woman, was created from the rib cage of Adam, or man. Adam was created as the mirror image of God. And it was Eve who tempted Adam to taste the fruit from the Tree of Forbidden Fruit. It was the Tree of Knowledge. God said that no one was allowed to take the fruit, so Eve is culpable for Adam’s downfall, and thus, the downfall of mankind.
Look at us now! Women are more prone to drama than men and fight verbally (check out the movie, ‘Mean Girls’) rather than physically. Whoever came up with “sticks and stones may hurt my bones but words would something something something” is wrong. The pain of someone throwing something at you goes away, but not words.
