See how and why the city is better for bees …
British researchers at the University of Worcester had a surprise when the proportions found that bees living in urban and suburban benefit, in fact, a diet richer and healthier than that of bees in farm country.
This study is part of Bee Part of It campaign, developed by the BBC and the National Trust, the campaign primarily aims to establish health of bees in Britain.
First, data collected revealed that bees which operates in areas with meadows, forests and farms, have a wide variety of pollens much less compared with their signs living in urban areas.
For example, bees in the area of Kensington Palace in London receive pollen from eucalyptus and shock U.S. and around the University of Worcester bees have pollen available acacia, mulberry, lime and various ornamental trees. By comparison, most bee families in rural areas of Britain are only part of the rape pollen.
