Cleanliness is unimpeachably important for all religions.  Cleanliness is half faith.  No other religion can hold any comparison in this with respect to religion.  It stresses the need of being pure and clean on its followers both physically and spiritually.

A religious person must purify both his mind and body.  His thoughts, ideas, feelings and sentiments should banish every a particle of impurity from his mind.  Every part of his body should always be kept clean of impurity, filth, dirt and dust.  His actions and dealings with the fellow being should also be clear and clean.

Verily, God loves those who turn unto Him and loves those who care for cleanliness

It is stated that:-

“Cleanliness is a part of faith.”

“The key to Paradise is prayer and the key to prayer is cleanliness.”
