Finding faults is all we do? Is it worthwhile to do so?
Life has its ups and downs and most of the time we often notice the downside more. Just want to share some of the common stuff that we complain.
As we wake up, we complain on why we need to wake up early and have to go to work not thinking that we’re so lucky that we have been given a chance to see the world again. Many people die while they were sleeping. Not also thankful of having a job while some are jobless and worrying about how they can put food on their table. When we ride a bus and it happens to be full, we grumble about it considering that we don’t have to walk going to our destinations. When we’re at the office and we get reprimanded by our boss, we criticize him/her, not accepting that this could be helpful in our growth as an employee. When we are treated unfairly, we judge the person right away not understanding the other party’s side; maybe we’ve hurt them too.
The worst part is, we love talking and reacting too much that we want to share it to the world like expressing it using some famous social networking sites or worst spreading rumors. It’s a free world after all, do whatever you think that makes you feel happy but the question is are you happy? Did you find satisfaction in doing all those silly stuff? Is it maybe because we are not mature enough to face this concern that’s why we act like this?
These are just few of the complaints and criticisms we deal with, it either with the people close to us, to strangers, or even to our enemies. I just hope we could see among ourselves better (me without exemption) that we are not perfect, that we can also be a source of criticisms to others and that we don’t have any right to hurt other people. Is it our norms that we just want others to please us and not the other way around? We can do this, just gradually. Life’s to short to focus on this, let’s try to uncomplicated cause we’re the only ones complicating it.
I’d like to share this line from the Bible John 8.7 where Jesus tells the accusers of a woman of adultery, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
