Alone in a world that seems so full. You wear the prettiest clothes, have the best hair styles, and have the best make up. You do it all to stand out but all you do is fit right in. No one is creative for themselces, they blend in with the trent, and those who stand out are freaks. The girls in boy clothes, the boys wearing skinny jeans, the freaks. Though if you really sat back and thought about it, the rest of us are the freaks. We are copycats, we try and fit in, we change who we should be to match everyone else in the world. We change to be just like what the media say’s we should be, what they manipulate our minds to think. Stand in the middle of a large crowd looking like your trying to fit in, and no one will notice you. Stand in that same crowd with multiple peircings, or tatoos, or dressed like a boy; everyone will notice you. They will all turn to look and stare, or laugh and giggle and point. Since your different from them, your the freak; because you stand out, your the freak. We can’t say we are creative or different if we aren’t even trying. So all we can really say about ourselves is that we are clones, of what society is shaping us to be. Stand in the middle of a mall and tally every girl to walk by you will either be wearing, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, Aeropostale, TNA, LuLu Lemon, Guess, Banana Republic, Coach. We are branded. It’s the teen trend, and if you don’t follow it, your the outcast. That is when you don’t belong. When you’re not popular, or the spitting image of what society and the media expects you to be. We just have to be something different. No matter what people may call us. We are ourselves. I am me!
