My first hand experience with an intuitive and wonderfuly mysterious woman on a cruise in the Caribbean.
In my early twenties I booked for a Caribbean cruise with my friend barb. She had to cancel close to the time of the trip so I went alone. I flew to Miami, Florida and took a mini bus from the airport to the ship. The woman seated next to me was called Devine. She was open and friendly and I learned that she lived in Vancouver, British Columbia. We became fast friends and when we boarded the ship we parted ways looking for our individual cabins. I met my new room mate who was also from British Columbia. I learned that she was a high school principle and she seemed very nice. Earlier I had told Divine where my room was located so she came to find me after she had settled in. When she came into my room she rushed to my new roommate and they started hugging and talking all at once. The incredible fact was that these two women knew each other and had been good friends from decades before. They had not kept in touch and neither was aware that the other was on this cruise. Throughout the trip the two women befriended me. Divine and I had a particularly unusual connection. She had this uncanny ability to read my thoughts especially when I was feeling blue or homesick. I was walking back to my cabin one day and she turned the corner telling me that she sensed I was feeling sad and missing my fiance and that she was there to support me. The weird thing was that was exactly what I had been thinking and that I really needed a friend in that moment. I learned something interesting about my room mate. Divine told me that she was married to a pentecostal minister at one time which was my families religion. She left her husband and it had caused quite a stir in the church. Now this woman was spreading her wings and seeking out new adventures on her own as a single woman. What this translated into was that she quickly formed a relationship with a man on the ship who was also a school principle from somewhere in the USA. The first night of the cruise when I tried to retire to my room i almost walked in on them during an intimate moment. I realized in that moment that I would need to talk this issue out with my room mate. I didn’t want to be left stranded outside my room late at night. We made an agreement that I would stay away from the room from 2-4 p.m. each day that the ship was at sea. This worked out a lot better. At the end of the cruise Devine accompanied me back to my home in Toronto. I had just moved into a new apartment prior to going on the trip. My apartment was in a mess and not fully unpacked. There was also the issue that I had left home on bad terms with my parents because of their refusal to accept my boyfriend as part of my life. When Devine and I arrived in Toronto I immediately took her to meet my In-Laws. My future father in-law was friendly and gracious. Divine was typically Divine and proceeded to tell my father-In-Law what he was thinking. She was dead on and he was so weirded out by the experience that he asked me to never bring Divine back to the house again. I think that they had plenty to deal with having me in the family with my own psychic gift. After Divine left to return to Vancouver she invited me and my fiance to come and visit her in Vancouver. I wrote down her phone number and address but sadly did not keep the connection and eventually lost the contact information. To this day I think of Divine and I wonder who she really was? I have pondered on the possibility that she might have been an angel sent from God to help me during a difficult transitional time in my life. I guess I will never know because I have forever lost the opportunity to resume a connection with the wonderful and mysterious woman. Who do you think this woman was?
